Dr T. Jennifer Edwards PhD is a Senior Advisor and Sustainable Tourism Policy, Strategic Planning and Development Specialist. She works across The Bahamas and CARICOM region supporting the efforts of international and regional agencies such as the World Bank, the EU Centre for the Development of Enterprise; the Inter-American Development Bank; the Organization of American States; the OECS Commission; and the Caribbean Tourism Organization.

Dr Edwards is a firm advocate for re-thinking tourism development to ensure that it is guided by targeted strategies for climate and risk resilience; job creation; revenue generation; linkages; and inclusive growth that allows effective engagement of MSMEs and spreading of tourism benefits. Her contribution to tourism development has not gone unnoticed as she was recognised by CTO OneCaribbean, which acknowledges Caribbean citizens who contribute to making the region a special place to live, work and visit. Her efforts were also recognised by the InterAmerican Development Bank with an award for innovation in linkage creation between agriculture and tourism.
