Board member of the Tourism Development of the TDC Bahamas
Robert Myers relocated back to the Bahamas in 1982 having completed his education in
England and the United States where he earned an A.S. degree in Landscape Design.
In 1991 Mr. Myers became President of Caribbean Landscape Ltd., the leading
landscape design / build, maintenance and retail garden center in the Bahamas.
Having been immersed in the service and construction industry Mr. Myers began to grow his business portfolio which now includes: Capstone Construction Ltd., Western Hardware & Lumber Co. Ltd, The Garden Center, Green Systems Ltd, ACIT Ltd, ACIT Insurance Brokerage, GPS Fleet Solutions, AzA Customs Brokers, Bloom and most recently Bahama Island Homes (BIH Ltd).
Mr Myers has served as the Chairman of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers
Confederation, Bahamian Contractors Association, Bahamas Landscape Association, The Coalition for
Responsible Taxation and presides as the Chairman of the Organization for Responsible Governance a nonprofit foundation focused on education, government accountability and economic development.
Mr. Myers is currently a Board member of the Tourism Development Corporation and sat on the Ministry of
Education’s National Advisory Counsel for Education.
Mr Myers continues to look to expand his business interests through the identification and partnership with
dynamic people who share his common business philosophies and culture.
Having come from a humble beginning, Mr. Myers knows and understands the value of hard work,
determination and responsible leadership. It is his faith in these traits that drives his philanthropic work that
focuses on the improvement of governance, education and opportunity for all citizens of the Bahamas.
