Anthony U. Bostwick

Mr. Bostwick received his early education at St. John’s Prep School, George St. A 1984 graduate of St. Augustine’s High School and a 1988 graduate of St. Augustine College, Raleigh, NC. He retired from The Bahamas Water & Sewerage Corporation(WSC) having served for 31yrs. Served as Cash Flow, Customer Services and Credit Collections manager in New Providence and numerous Family Islands.


Successfully established WSC Commercial and Operational Offices throughout The Bahamas. Managed and enhanced commercial activities, financial growth, and advance Infrastructure and Fam. Isle Project Works. Managed numerous International and Government loans that assisted WSC in its Capital Works expansion programs to improve potable water distribution. Appointed WSC/IDB Liaison Project Officer while serving as Manager in WSC Bus. Dev Unit.

Instrumental obtaining financing from The Inter American Bank(IDB) having been assigned to numerous International Consultancies conducting studies throughout The Bahamas.

 

Certified in Financial Modeling and Data Management, specializing in Private and Government Sector Placement, Industry Structuring, and Regulation.

Completed his Executive Education and Graduate Coarse Certificate in Infrastructure Market Economy in Public Private Partnership(PPP) at Harvard University Kennedy School Cambridge, Massachusetts. Received his Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management, Project Planning, Appraisal, and Management from The University of Bradford (UK) sponsored by Caribbean Development Bank CDB(T&T).

 

At the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships(IP3) Georgetown, Washington D.C. he received a Certificate in Project Management – Contract Compliance, Performance Monitoring and Dispute Resolutions in PPP Projects.

 

An Honorably discharged member of The United States Marine Corp/Reserve(USMC). Completed  Airborne Training and received numerous specialized military training including Project Accounting, Military Supply Stock Control. Successfully graduated from many advance military training seminars and received numerous certifications.

 

A member, and a leader of numerous Fraternal Organizations, Honor Societies, and Sporting Clubs.He served on the first Board of the Public Parks(PPBA), and is a former Board Member of The Bahamas  National Trust. He remains an active Environmentalist.   He was a silver medalist in the 1983 Carifta Games, enjoys fishing, scuba diving, and numerous local sporting activities. He is a Senior Member of the World-Famous Valley Boys Junkanoo Organization having participated for over 40yrs.
