Khadijah Young

Khadijah Young leads the Business Development Unit at the Tourism Development Corporation with several years of experience in the tourism industry. She works closely with Tourism MSMEs to discover business opportunities and provide business development training and support. She is an alumna of the University of The Bahamas and Barry University with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Master of Science in Human Resource Development respectively. Her background in tourism and organizational development are key components in her ability to enact change at the Tourism Development Corporation. Khadijah has an immense passion for the development and upward mobility of The Bahamas and has represented the country on a global scale as the first Bahamian Common Purpose 33Fifty Alumna, 19th CCEM Youth Forum

Khadijah Young is also a business owner and prides herself on being able to make a small difference in someone’s life “one product or service at a time.” Her passion for the country’s development and desire for tourism diversification remains the driving force for Ms. Young as a young tourism professional.
