Treva Strachan

Treva D. Strachan – Product Development lead at the Tourism Development Corporation, attended Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida where she earned an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree. With over seven (7) years in the hospitality industry, Ms. Strachan has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the general workings of the tourism industry while serving in administrative capacities at leading hotels such as the One & Only Ocean Club and Baha Mar Ltd. Prior to joining the Tourism Development Corporation (TDC), she was employed at the Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, assigned to the Guest Services Unit, and later transitioned into an Executive Assistant role within the Office of the Minister where she served for the past four (4) years. Most recently, Ms. Strachan was selected to lead a dynamic team of

ambassadors to Expo 2020 Dubai, assisting with the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Bahamas Pavilion, and also played a significant role in the Bahamas’ National & Honor Day presentations.

In her current role as Product Development lead, Ms. Strachan is responsible for facilitating and supporting sector development by improving existing product offerings and experiences, in addition to identifying and minimizing market gaps with a strong emphasis on diversification and sustainability for a more inclusive tourism sector.
