Robert M. Myers

Mr Myers has served as the Chairman of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation, Bahamian Contractors Association, Bahamas Landscape Association, The Coalition for Responsible Taxation and presides as the Chairman of the Organization for Responsible Governance a nonprofit foundation focused on education, government accountability and economic development.

Mr. Myers is currently a Board member of the Tourism Development Corporation and sat on the Ministry of Education’s National Advisory Counsel for Education. Mr Myers continues to look to expand his business interests through the identification and partnership with dynamic people who share his common business philosophies and culture. Having come from a humble beginning, Mr. Myers knows and understands the value of hard work, determination and responsible leadership. It is his faith in these traits that drives his philanthropic work that focuses on the improvement of governance, education and opportunity for all citizens of the Bahamas.

Mrs. Raquel Hinds, Director

A devout family enthusiast, she has been married for the past twenty-two years to Mr. Mareno C. Hinds and together they are blessed with three dynamic children.

Tasman Darling

development team in building new brand names like REV, REVON & REVTV.  Mr. Darling also served as a brand consultant with the Izmirlian Group to brand Baha Mar’s many offerings, while infusing the Bahamian flavour to the brand prior to the resort launched opening.

 

As founder of the Blue Orchid Group of companies, Mr. Darling serves as the Managing Director at Blue Orchid Advertising Agency Company Ltd. An international award winning premium advertising agency based in Nassau. Initially dedicated to servicing The Bahamas, and servicing corporations throughout the Caribbean
region. Providing turn-key solutions for blue chip brands and household names like Global Port Holdings Ltd. and Piton Beer out of Saint Lucia, while solving unique business challenges with its results-driven creative philosophy.

 

Mr. Darling as Managing Director and his two Partners at Blue Orchid Advertising received many international advertising and Marketing awards including the Platinum Award at The Summit International 2018 Marketing for Best Educational Campaign., for The Central Bank of The Bahamas “Get Money Smart” campaign., Leader Award at The International Summit Emerging 2018 Media Award for The Atlantis Social Media Campaign., Gold Winner Award at the International Muse Awards for Best Social Media Campaign for Kalik Radler Campaign., Mr. Darling has served on numerous Boards, Steering Committees and consultant for several corporate entities. He enjoys playing tennis and reading.

Rafique Symonette

The Group’s focus is transportation/ logistics and offers a full suite of luxury transportation solutions to hotel resorts from VIP/Casino transfers to staff shuttle services business. In addition, Rafique is an Investor and Director of Lighthouse Security Solutions, a technology enabled integrated guarding security company.

Prior to returning home to the Bahamas, he worked as an emerging market private equity investor throughout Southern and Eastern Africa for 12 years with a particular focus on investing in operating growth companies. In addition, he held a number of non-executive directorships a variety sectors from fast moving consumer goods manufacturers to financial services firms. Early in his career, he spent some time as a trade lobbyist in Washington DC with a focus on the Western African oil trade. He began his career as a strategic consultant throughout North America, and Europe.

Rafique serves on the Board of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) of the Bahamas Chapter with roles including Chapter Chair; Learning Officer; Member Engagement and Forum Officer. He also serves on the Board of the Rotary Club of East Nassau as Membership & Vocational Director. He was formerly appointed a member Local Organizing Committee – FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017 where he served as Transportation Coordinator for the event.
